Anatomy Art

Part I

“I will turn human anatomy into roses and stars and sea. I will dissect the beloveds body in metaphor.”
― Siri Hustvedt

GREAT SIOUX NATION ARTWORKS

Something sacred and real dwells in this culture every time you look closer. It took some time to realize that it is simplicity. Like a key. Because there is no greatness where there is no simplicity, goodness and truth.

Long way through Canary Islands, searching for signs where to move forward led thirst for cultural heritage and history. And its not a coincidence, traveling south of Spain has brought to live in one of the oldest cities of Spain – Seville, during the summer time with +48 degrees in a tiny little room of an ancient building next to another ancient 16th century building which is the main General Archive of Native American Indians, has been quite inspirational to face this great culture more than ever before. Eventually share it with others.

This exhibition of Native American Indian portraits has been created with the aim not to ask for unnecessary controversy and personal dislikement.

It is a peaceful space of pure enjoyment and nice contributions, with big desire to share own passion and surround self with more likeminded people.

Like any other peace of art made with love and care.

Being inspired by Sioux Nation, heart touching and wise speeches, written in the Native American war of spiritual trivialization and appropriation.

Imagining Native American itself as wild sunflower, generous and real.

Guided by the profiles of notable Chief Luther Standing Bear (author, educator and philosopher of the 20th century), Chief Red Cloud (war leader, one of the most capable Native American opponents US Army faced), author of Great Spirit prayer Chief Yellow Lark, American Horse Wasicu Tasunke and warrior Captain Jack Modoc Kintpuash.

Adopt the pace of nature.

Her secret is patience.

Oil technique/canvas, 180x160

Starring on the russian 19th century classical fine art, adoring it in all ways, by realising old school make feel not only see. Above all masters, A. Kuindzhi made that desire to follow for hours and make somehting worth keeping and enjoying to watch. Green colors make it fresh, in the same time dark spots leave that chiraoscuro effect, which seems so outspoken.

Studied Fine Arts in the Art Academy of Latvia (LMA). Several attempts and failures into Art academy has been painful, at the end it was done. Studies was not the best time to remember since all kind of education is within the frame and limits. On the background has a great experience in Graffiti Art which has changed for desire to spread on canvas with generous oil color technique, instead of messing walls of buildings with sprays. Emotional experiences and misunderstandings followed since studies, magical place where to express itself being self without questioning has always been fine arts. After diagnosis of chronical artritis with serious consequences at age 15, against strong medicine yoga practice was involved in a daily life. Not only yoga was a cure as well several sports. Staying in the sun and near the waters as a pleasure. As a result travels brought to places which surrounded by the sea and warm climate. In year 2012 has been passed TTC Yoga teacher training course and becoming a part of the Yoga Alliance circle. ''I really enjoy the interplay and contrast of dissimilar qualities (as of mood or character). The power of light and dark. The quality of being veiled or partly in shadow. I make my paintings in this technique using light and shade to achieve a three-dimensional quality." /A. Amberl
